Luke Hearne, PhD
I am a researcher at the Clinical Brain Networks group, QIMR Berghofer. I also serve as a scientific advisor at QNC, a not-for-profit clinic that provides MRI-based personalised Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for treatment resistant depression. I'm currently funded by an NHMRC Emerging Leadership fellow grant.
I am interested in the large-scale functional and structural organisation of the brain, and how it relates to cognition and psychiatric illness. Specifically, my current research aims to better understand and treat anxiety and mood disorders using neuroimaging, computational modeling and neuromodulation techniques.
